Benjamin Netanyahu’s Likud party and its political allies are leading Israel’s election, according to partial results, but are not expected to secure enough seats to command a majority in the Knesset.
With 85% of ballots counted, Netanyahu’s bloc is projected to win 53 of the 120 seats in Israel’s parliament. The figures place the bloc ahead in the election while leaving it below the level required for a majority.
The results remain provisional because counting has not yet been completed. The final balance of seats will determine whether the bloc’s position changes as the remaining ballots are included.
For now, the partial count shows Likud and its allies in the strongest position, but without a parliamentary majority based on the results available so far.
